This was such a fun piece of wood! The unique features allowed for a knot-hole-hanger in the handle, with room left over to carve an edge-clip for resting your spoon on the edge of your pot. Hand-carved from riven, sustainably-harvested, locally-grown wild cherry, straight from the homestead! Old-growth cherry has a richness of color that is really enhanced by hand-carving, using traditional tools and old-world craftsmanship methods. Finished in all-natural, food-safe flax oil, this spoon is meant for everyday use, and to be handed down from generation to generation.

Fully sealed with all-natural flax oil and ready for all uses.
