Individually split from cedar planks, these chopsticks represent one of the final stages of good stewardship. Here on the homestead, our wood resources, in general, go first to building timbers, then dimensional lumber, then chair legs, then serving bowls, then tableware – and anything too small for these uses goes to chopsticks! If it’s too small for chopsticks, it goes into the woodpile to heat our house during those legendary Maine winters. Each chopstick is carefully hand-smoothed on all surfaces for a comfortable, long-lasting finish. Finished in all-natural, food-safe flax oil, this spoon is meant for everyday use, and to be handed down from generation to generation.
Fully sealed with all-natural flax oil and ready for all uses.
