All the most beautiful colors are in nature, impossible to quite duplicate no matter how hard we try because of their subtle variation and luminous quality. In so many cases, when we look closely, we will find a gentle iridescence in all living things, like God’s own light captured in their very cells.
Just imagine what it might be like, one day, to gaze upon all things made new and a city made of crystal-gold!
And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass.
(Revelation 21:18, KJV)
And behold, the glory of the God of Israel was coming from the east. And the sound of his coming was like the sound of many waters, and the earth shone with his glory.
( Ezekiel 43:2, ESV)
And I saw something like a sea of glass mixed with fire…
(Revelation 15:2, BSB)
Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.
(Isaiah 60:1, KJV)
