When is a block of wood more than just a block of wood? When it’s a jig!
When you’re going to be drilling dozens of holes for a peg-rail, it definitely pays off to take the time to make a tool! A simple block of wood with a 12-degree guide-hole means all of my pegs will have the same slant with minimal frustration and heartache.
The only thing that could have been better, in hindsight, than a block of wood with a 12-degree guide-hole would have been a block of wood with TWO 12-degree guide-holes! *smh*
…but rather let him labor, doing honest work with his own hands, so that he may have something to share with anyone in need.
