When is a block of wood more than just a block of wood? When it’s a jig!
When you’re going to be drilling dozens of holes for a peg-rail, it definitely pays off to take the time to make a tool. A simple block of wood with a 12-degree guide-hole means all of your pegs will have the same slant with minimal frustration and heartache.
In hindsight, the only thing that could have been better than a block of wood with a 12-degree guide-hole would have been a block of wood with TWO 12-degree guide-holes!
