Margaretta Days

by Sydney Michalski

We were pleased to participate in the 2019 Margaretta Days Craft Fair in Machias, Maine this year. It’s a local festival that celebrates Maine’s contribution to the Revolutionary War effort, and showcases colonial life and local hand-crafts.

It was a sunny day…It was a fun day…It was a little bit of a hot day…

We visited with lots of folks, chatting about woodworking, engaging all ages in hands-on demonstrations, and just generally enjoying a day out in the sunshine, honoring the Lord with the work of our hands!

And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. (Colossians 3:17, KJV)

It was even a productive day! Between demonstrations and the kids entertaining themselves, we ended the day with several pieces of roughed-out cottonwood treen!
